This Privacy Policy shall be read in conjunction and together with the
Terms of Use / User Agreement forms an integral part of the User Agreement between you (“user(s) or
you”) and MX Player (“we”, “us”, “our”, “MX Player”). Capitalized terms not defined herein shall
have the meaning attributed to them under the Terms of Use / User Agreement.
1. MX Player Terms of Privacy Policy
Privacy Policy describes how and when MX Player collects,
processes, uses, and shares your information when you use MX Player mobile applications (the
"Services"). MX Player receives your information through our mobile applications,
email notifications, and other interactions with our Services. By accessing and/or using the
Services, you consent and authorize us to the collection, transfer, processing, storage,
disclosure, and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy. If you
do not agree with any of the following terms and conditions, MX Player will be unable to
provide you with particular services.
2. Personal Data or Information Collection and Use
‘Personal Data or Information’ means any information relating
to an identified or identifiable natural person; an identifiable natural person is one who
can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such
as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more
factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or
social identity of that natural person. When anonymous information is directly or indirectly
associated with personal data, the resulting information also is treated as personal data.
We use Personal Data or Information to facilitate and improve
our Services and communicate with you following existing regulations, while data integrity,
accuracy, relevancy, and legally justified processing are ensured. The data we collect
depends on the context of your interactions with us, the choices you make, including your
privacy settings, and the products and features listed below.
2.1 General Information
The general information we collect can include SDK/API/JS code
version, browser, Internet service provider, IP address, location, platform, timestamp,
application identifier, application version,application distribution channel, independent
device identifier, Android ad master identifier and international mobile device
identification code (IMEI) the equipment model, the terminal manufacturer,the terminal
device operating system version, the session start / stop time, and the network state (Wi-Fi
and so on).
By using MX services you agree to our use of your personal
information (including sensitive personal information) in accordance with this Privacy
Notice, as may be amended from time to time by us at our discretion. You also agree and
consent to us collecting, storing, processing, transferring, and sharing your personal
information (including sensitive personal information) with third parties or service
providers for the purposes set out in this Privacy Notice.In some cases, particularly if you
reside in a country governed by a data protection regulation, we may ask you to provide
explicit consent to access our services before proceeding for further operations.
In case of any roaming user profile or if you are travelling
visiting various countries around the world and avail MX services, then we will consider the
country of registration as your primary country and the consents obtained at the time of
registration will be valid for your processing of personal information.
2.2 Content, Following, and other Public Information
MX Player is an Over the Top (OTT) digital on demand Service
which offers a wide range of content for entertainment purposes including without
limitations, audio, visual, audio-visual, and gaming content, so most of the information you
provide us is information that you choose to be made public. This includes not only the
content that you post, and data provided with such content, such as when it was posted, but
also the accounts you follow, the content that you like or comment on, and other public
interactions on the Services. Your public information is broadly and instantly disseminated.
For instance, your profile information and public content are immediately delivered to a
wide range of users and other services that access MX Player. When you share information or
content via the Services, you should think carefully about what you are making public.
2.3 Location Information
In addition to profile information, you may also tell us your
exact location if you choose to enable your computer or mobile device to send us location
information. We may use and store information about your location to manage content
copyright and exploitation restrictions applicable to your location and to also provide
features of our Services, such as tagging a video with a location, and to improve and
customize the Services, for example, with content that has been tagged near your location.
2.4 Links
We may keep track of how you interact with links across our
application, including our email notifications, third-party services, and client
applications, by redirecting clicks or through other means. We do this to help improve our
services, for example to provide relevant advertising, and to be able to share aggregate
click statistics such as how many times a particular link was clicked on.
2.5 Log Data
The servers automatically record information ("Log
Data") created by your use of the services. Log Data may include information such as
your IP address, browser type, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited,
location, your mobile carrier, device, type of your phone, apps and other technical
information about users means of connection to our apps, such as the versions of phone model
and other similar information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, for
example, when you use our application, sign into our Services, view videos hosted by MX
Player, or interact with our email notifications. MX Player uses Log Data to provide our
Services and to measure, customize, and improve them.
2.6 Third-Party Services
MX Player uses a variety of third-party services to help
provide our services, including to host our various blogs and wikis and to help us
understand the use of our services. These third-party service providers may use cookies and
other technologies to collect information about your use of our services, including your IP
address, device ID, pages viewed, and links clicked. Our service providers include Google
Analytics, its demographics and interests reporting feature, which you can opt out of here.

Mx Player will never ask you and you must never provide
sensitive Personal Data or Information to MX Player or to any person/entity representing MX
Player. You understand, acknowledge, and agree that MX Player or any other person acting on
behalf of MX Player shall not in any manner be responsible for the authenticity of the
Personal Data or Information or Sensitive Personal Data or Information provided by you to MX
Player.
You must note that any information that is freely available or accessible in public domain shall not be regarded as Personal Data or Information or Sensitive Personal Data or Information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy and MX Player shall not be obliged to take any measures to protect the same since the same is freely available in the public domain. Please further note that identity theft and the practice currently known as "phishing" are of great concern to MX Player. We do not and will not, at any time, request your credit card information/debit card information/financial pin numbers and passwords.

MX Player may preserve or disclose your information if we believe that
it is reasonably necessary to comply with a law, regulation, or legal request; to protect the safety
of any person; to address fraud, security, or technical issues; or to protect MX Player’s rights or
property. However, nothing in this Privacy Policy is intended to limit any legal defences or
objections that you may have to a third party's, including a government's, request to
disclose your information.
4.3 Business Affiliates/Partners
In the event that MX Player is involved in a bankruptcy, merger,
acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, your information may be sold or transferred as part
of that transaction. The promises in this Privacy Policy will apply to your information as
transferred to the new entity. By providing your information to us, you consent to any transfer and
processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
4.4 Advertisement Partners
We work with third parties, such as advertisers, publishers, social
media networks, search engines, ad serving companies, and advertising companies working on their
behalf, to improve the relevance of ads we serve. In providing you interest-based ads we do not
associate your interactions on unaffiliated sites with information which on its own identifies you,
such as name or email address, and we do not provide any such information to advertisers or to
third-party sites that display our interest-based ads.
Third party advertisers or advertising companies working on their behalf sometimes use cookies in the process of delivering content, including ads, directly to your browser or device, and they may automatically receive an IP address when this happens. They may also use cookies to measure the effectiveness of their ads, show you more relevant advertising content, and perform services on behalf of MX.

5. Deleting your MX Player account
By deleting your account, you will permanently lose access
to your account activity, preferences and more. A few things to note if you decide to
delete your MX Player account:

(Only for Subscribed Users / SVOD)- Removal of subscription for
SVOD users. For user having Subscription active with active auto renewal: -
-Users have to cancel their Auto renewals first to proceed for account deletion in order
to avoid disputes in future regarding subscriptions. This is a mandatory step, without canceling auto renewal,
the user cannot delete his account.
-Text to be shown on subscription canceling screen: -
”Canceling auto renewals is a mandatory step to proceed for account deletion. Your subscription will
get canceled after the 30 days of account deletion request but your auto renewals will get canceled
immediately. Please note that as per the subscription and cancellation policy available on
MX Player / Terms of Use, no refund shall be granted for the remaining subscription period in the
event cancellation is opted before expiry of the current active subscription period. Once you opt
to cancel the current subscription, auto-renewal for further subscription shall cease and remaining
months of the active subscription period shall stand forfeited forthwith upon cancellation.“

The users will have to register their reason for account deletion such as-
found another similar app, did not find what I was looking for or others. After selecting one of
the reasons, the user can click on the “Continue to Account Deletion” button to proceed to the Delete
Screen if we have the email of the user with us, otherwise the user will be taken to the Email screen.
Please note, users cannot proceed further without selecting any of the possible reasons.

'Opting for account deletion request means the entire information provided
by you and / or data generated in course of your access to MX player platform shall stand deleted, which
also means deletion of the certain information/ data relating to your MX account which could help serve
you better for seamless experience if you decide to resume in future. Please further note that account
deletion is a permanent action and once your account is deleted it will no longer be available to you
and cannot be restored.
Please be aware that you can recover your account within the 30 days of time you placed the account
deletion request by logging back into the account. For more information, we request you to kindly check
your email (“User email”). For benefit of the users, here are some key points to be kept in mind while
deciding to delete the account: -
a) Recovery Period: As mentioned above, we provide a recovery period of 30 days from the date you raised
the request for account deletion. During this time, your account information will be temporarily stored,
allowing you the option to reconsider and reinstate your account if you choose to do so. You can recover
your account by logging back on our platform within the 30 days.
b) Permanent Deletion: If no action is taken within the 30-day recovery period, your account will be
permanently deleted. After this period, all your account data will be irreversibly removed from our systems.
c) Information Storage for Legal Compliance: In accordance with legal requirements, we will retain some
essential information related to your account to handle potential legal issues. Rest assured, this
information will only be used for legal purposes and will be handled with the utmost confidentiality as
mentioned in MX Player privacy policy.
Screen 4- Asking for registered Email of the user.
For users for which we do not have an email address available with us,
the user will have to enter an email ID. There will be a “Submit” button on this page that will remain
disabled unless the user enters a valid email ID. If the user enters an invalid email ID, we will show
a warning / popup that will have the text “Please enter valid email ID.” Once the user clicks on
the “Submit” button, we will bring the user to the homepage, and we will show a popup with text
“please check your email to proceed further for account deletion.“ Once the user has entered the email,
we need to verify its email by sending OTP to that email to avoid any typographical error by the user
so that the confirmation email does not bounce.
6. Retention of Information
We retain information following account deletion for lawful reasons,
including for fraud prevention, accounting purposes, and enforcing our Terms of Use. This
includes a device identifier, an email address associated with the account, and an encrypted
and hashed version of your payment details. “Hashing” means that we can “match” your payment
method (or email) if it is reintroduced to our systems - but we cannot use the information to
contact you or charge your payment method.
If you have removed a payment method, but have not deleted your account, we retain an encrypted
and hashed version of the payment details for the reasons stated above.
7. International Transfers
We operate globally and may transfer your Personal Data or
Information to our affiliates or third parties in locations around the world for the
purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Wherever your Personal Data or Information is
transferred, stored, or processed by us, we will take reasonable steps to safeguard the
privacy of your Personal Data or Information. Additionally, when disclosing Personal Data or
Information to any third party outside the jurisdiction where We provide our Services and
transfer Personal Data or Information, we ensure our legal agreements with such third
parties include data transfer and data protection requirements ensuring adequate level of
safeguard and protection as required under the applicable laws of the relevant
jurisdictions.
8. Age of Consent and Children’s Privacy
Our Services are primarily meant for the users who have
attained the age of 16 years or above and you have activated the parental pin on the kid
mode and selected the age bracket applicable for the kid to allow any of your minor
dependents (less than 16 years) to use and access our Services. For minors, parents or
guardians are advised to monitor the minor’s use of our services. It shall be the
parent's or guardian's responsibility to decide whether or not the use of our
services is suitable for their minor. If you access our services, then you are bound by our
Age Suitability Terms.
If you become aware that your child has provided us with Personal Data or Information without your consent, please email to support@mxplayer.sg. We do not knowingly collect Personal Data or Information from children under the age of 16. If we become aware that a child under the age of 16 has provided us with Personal Data or Information, we take steps to remove such information and terminate the child's account.

- Derive the location of the user and provide content available in the said territory
- Provide the user with a better user experience on the MX Player Application
- Enable user registration and account creation
- TTo gather video playback features and data to assist the user in case of any query resolution for issues faced during playback
- Provide subscription packages to the user
- Enable subscribed content / premium content for users for which they need to complete payment
- To display Payment Summary to user, for subscribed content and subscribed video playout content
- Enable user to access their account details
- Enable user to access their downloads
- To enable user to access their watchlist and play the videos they saved to watch later and to access their watch history
- To provide personalized advertisements that are relevant to you
11. Third Party Websites / Apps
Service may contain links to other websites/services owned and
operated by third parties which are not under the control of MX Player ("Third-Party
Websites/Apps"). Any Third-Party Websites/App you visit by a link from our Service is
solely the responsibility of owners of such Third-Party Websites/Apps. The content of,
including materials and information contained on, any Third-Party Websites/Apps to which you
link from our Service is solely the responsibility of the owner and provider of such
Third-Party Websites/Apps. Any transactions that you enter into with a third party listed in
this Service or linked from our Service are solely between you and the owner/provider of
such Third-Party Websites/Apps. MX Player is and shall not be responsible for any such
Third-Party Websites/Apps, any products or services sold or provided by such Third-Party
Websites/Apps, nor the organizations publishing those Third-Party Websites/Apps, and hereby
disclaim any responsibility and liability for the same. The inclusion of any links does not
constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation by us of the Third-Party Websites/Apps
and the services and products offered therein, of the quality of any product or service,
advice, information, or other materials displayed, purchased, or obtained by you as a result
of an advertisement or any other information or offer in or in connection with the
Third-Party Websites/Apps. MX Player shall not be liable, accountable, or responsible for
your Personal Data or Information and/or Sensitive Personal Data or Information being used
or misused by such Third-Party Websites/Apps.
Access and usage of any Third-Party Websites/Apps is entirely at your own risk. MX Player shall not be a party to any transaction between you and a Third-Party Websites/Apps. Your use of a Third-Party Websites/Apps is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of such Third-Party Websites/Apps in addition to our Terms of Use/User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
Access and usage of any Third-Party Websites/Apps is entirely at your own risk. MX Player shall not be a party to any transaction between you and a Third-Party Websites/Apps. Your use of a Third-Party Websites/Apps is subject to the terms and conditions and privacy policy of such Third-Party Websites/Apps in addition to our Terms of Use/User Agreement and Privacy Policy.
12. How long do we store and use your Personal Data or Information?
We retain your Personal Data or Information which we have
collected no longer than is necessary. This is determined on a case-by-case basis. Normally
we will retain your Personal Data or Information as long as you maintain an account with us.
We will delete your Personal Data or Information whenever you request us to do so. However,
we may archive and/or retain some Personal Data or Information as required to comply with
applicable laws and to establish, exercise or defend our legal rights.

MX Player, wherever feasible. Alternatively, you may request for your Personal Data or
Information to be transmitted to another service provider (where technically feasible)
directly by MX Player.
13.3. Data Security, Integrity, Erasure and Retention
The security, integrity, and confidentiality of your
information are extremely important to us. We have implemented technical, administrative,
and physical security measures that are designed to protect guest information from unauthorized access,
disclosure, use, and modification. We regularly review our security procedures to consider appropriate
new technology and methods. Please be aware that, despite our best efforts, no security measures are
perfect or impenetrable. We will retain your personal information for the length of time needed to
fulfill the purposes outlined in this privacy policy unless a longer retention period is required
or permitted by The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR”, which is a law in the European Union
that governs how companies can use personal information, as of 25 May 2018 (“Data Protection Law

For withdrawing your consent at any time during the tenure

request was made by you and stop any further processing of your Personal Data or

interest, or where you have reasons to believe that the Personal Data or Information
being processed by MX Player is inaccurate, unlawful or is no longer required to be
processed by MX Player under any lawful basis, you may, at any time, ask us to restrict
or object the processing of your Personal Data or Information.
Please be aware that if you do not allow us to collect Personal Data or Information from you, we may not be able to deliver certain experiences, and services to you, and some of our services may not be able to take account of your interests and preferences. If collection of Personal Data or Information is mandatory, we will make that clear at the point of collection so that you can make an informed decision whether to participate.

We will need you to respond with proof of your identity before you can exercise these rights. We may not be able to process any requests made in the event the user fails to identify themselves or if we are unable to authenticate such a user. We may decline to process requests that are unreasonably repetitive or systematic, requiring disproportionate technical effort, jeopardizing the privacy of others, or would be extremely impractical or for which access is not otherwise required. We shall not charge you for fulfilling any of the above requests. However, if the fulfilment of any such request leads to certain costs being incurred by us, then we will notify the same to you prior to processing such request.

email address associated with your account or through the services. By continuing to access
or use the services after those changes become effective, you agree to be bound by the
revised Privacy Policy.
